Hmmm...

I'm at the hospital with my gramps. Dude one bed over took a dozen T3s with a lot of alcohol. Now he's throwing up and the smell is awful. I hate the sound of retching.

Over 30° with a lot of humidity, might have been hotter around my house and where he was napping on the second floor. I've been feeling out of it past few days too, not surprised he couldn't handle it. Dudes like 87.

I had the same issue on Oblivion on a completely different PC, so fuck Bethesda. Hard. In the ear.

Because I said I would send Taco Bell goodness and the Yum Foods mothership has spurned me.

30C in Canadia is crazy talk. It's bad enough here in FL, with daytime temp around 92F and humidity identical. Walking outside's like being in a steam bath, the heat index is around 100. It's almost as bad as Atlanta in the summer; at least here I have a breeze. But seriously, five minutes outside and I'm sweating through my shirt. That has to suck for those up north who aren't used to it.

It gets to 70 here and I'm miserable. But the reason it sucks so hard up north is because most people don't have AC.

Well my optimism was mistaken. Gramps had a heart attack at some point in the last day or two. Doc thinks the stress of the heat and humidity might have contributed to it but still. Fuck.

They snake a catheter up through your thigh into your heart arteries and place a stent.

Stent = basically they inflate a tiny balloon to push the cholesterol out of the way and free up the artery, then you're put on anti-cholesterol meds for the rest of your life. My dad had that done, but it beats my grandpa's triple bypass.

Hospitals are exhausting places.

It feels like nobody else cares that he's not well and in the hospital. Mom knows and my sister is wondering how he is and my cousins in Detroit are aware and concerned but my uncle and cousin who live down the street from me are giving zero fucks as they prefer to do usually.

I need to eat something, I haven't had anything since breakfast. I'm still in the same sweaty clothes from my morning workout, I haven't even had a chance to shower. They're moving him up to the CCU soon, but they said "in half an hour" an hour ago.

The cardiologist took 3 hours when they said "soon" so…

On the upside Phant, he's got you :-) Plus he's in good hands. Just remember that to take care of him you need to take care of yourself, too.

Doing work for my new job, and the file template I'm using deleted the underlining on a third of my work. So I have to go back over everything and make sure it's alright before underlining again. A real fucking pain in the ass.
