That doesn't happen often. I have switched back to HDTV rips (175mb - 550mb) for TV shows as they are shit quality even in HD, given poorly compressed tv streams.

Nowadays, for HD content, I usually download samples of BD rips of movies I want to eventually buy and note how they look. If they look like ass, like the Big Lebowski and TDK, I don't buy them.

As for BitMeTV, they have 25,546 torrents with SD and HD content. The minimum ratio requirement there is 0.65. Tell me again why I would use Demonoid?

nah, southeast

which is a shame because that campus is like, less than a ten minute commute for me but all the others are an hour plus unless I can catch the PCC shuttle which only runs like, four times a day (none of which are convenient for my schedule next term)

i hate amortization

i hate npv shit

i hate when they put them together

very tempted to just say 'fuck it' and study everything else

it'll only be one question on the final right, how much could it be worth?

that stuff is pretty easy dude

just try to remember what the terms mean rather than their iq ip bullshits

conceptually its a simple concept and i never remembered the ways your supposed to do it but got 7s anyway

and seriously if you can't do npv you will fail every project- or finance-related unit ever so its worth getting your head around

I can do it just fine, I just hate when I'm asked to do it manually and step-by-step because it's a pain in the ass and the reason I have a TVM solver in my calculator.

And then having to do it over and over becausei have to show th different depreciation methods.

As long as it's not your friends you're arguing with I guess?

Course most of my friends don't mind talking/arguing politics so . . .

reminds me of the fucking university

they stopped taking all in-person payments. has to be online. either a direct bank transfer, or a credit card which gets something like $50 or 5% or some stupid shit added as a "convenience fee". you've gotta be fucking kidding me.

now if you have a debt with them, tell them to fuck off cuz the notes are legal tender for all debts public and private

buuuut if not they do have the right to not sell you the service so they can screw you that way

colleges like to screw people with random fees anyway tho.

if only i'd realized i should have applied for graduation in advance of actually completing all of the graduation requirements

i might not have had to wait until spring 2012 to get my rightfully earned history degree

oh well

"maybe if you'd talked to your advisor more than once since enrolling at the university"

maybe if all my past advisor experiences hadn't been worthless i would have checked in more often

(seriously. out of maybe three times ever i've seen an advisor, two basically just told me stuff i already knew, and one gave me catastrophically bad advice that probably had a small part in me failing out of university my first go-around.)

What proportion of this forum has/will soon have history degrees?

It seems like a lot.

if my blatant self-destructive tendencies don't finally get the better of me this semester, i'm only a handful of credits away from a philosophy degree

Sweet! I'm one semester away from a degree in accounting. I wonder if I took enough sociology and psych to count as double minors? I should ask.
