Ask her if she was in Southern California from the year 2002 to 2003, I might know her.

Is that a srious question and do you think it addresses the use of statistical trends in risk analysis

Ps you should already know the numbers used to express it could well be irrelevant

My grandfather's lungcancer is back and it has spread to the spleen, adrenal gland and liver. There's nothing more the doctors can do. Best case scenario is the palliative care keeps him comfortable for a few more weeks.

Fuck you, cancer.

That really sucks Bounty. Here's hoping that your grandfather doesn't suffer any more pain.

You know, I keep seeing FB posts and what not complaining about Whitney Houston's death getting so much press when soldiers death rarely get any.

I'm to the point that I'm genuinely considering responding with, more or less, what the Joker says in The Dark Knight: it's all "part of the plan."

Of course, I could also say something to the effect of, "Because then everyone would genuinely realize that there's a war on and it's not just the dirty brown Muslims dying and insist that it stop."

But that might get me killed...

Funny enough I'm listening to Judith by A Perfect Circle right now.

I say that because I could go to a karaoke night at a bar around here somewhere and sing that song in such a way that people actually understand the lyrics and respond identically.

I think I'll choose life.

I like being alive.

It makes me happy.

Usually.

And in the same meeting where we discussed how to organise the care for my grandfather my aunt announced that she's finally pregnant. One life ends, one begins.
