What I love is Wong's continued dodging of my questions. He's a flat out fucking coward that refuses to answer a direct question, I think in this case it's because it might make him look long and hard at his precious ethics and decide if they're more important than his own family. Eitherway, I ain't backing off on this one.
I plan on keeping at it till Wong either admits he's wrong (Probably will never happen), or he runs away from the forum again (Likely, he did it when I called his ass out when what's his nuts went on about being arrested for being a drunken douchehammer). Either way, I've had about e-goddamn-nough of Wong's shit to ever back down from that fucking douchehammer.

everything about SW has been lame for the last few years
that mythical live action tv show is just icing on the cake
i love how supposedly it has all the scripts written for it, it's ready to go, but lucas doesn't want to commit because the vfx are too expensive to bring to the TV screen
he's either goddamn lying or self-deluded, but either way i have precisely zero interest in the franchise anyway to give a shit
because if it's true it shows lucas doesn't fucking know how a TV show even gets made, but the 'reason' for not doing it sounds more like an 'excuse' that he just 'made up' (i.e. lied about)
I dunno it could be interesting if it were a real thing and not made up bullshit. I mean a take on SW without it being centered on Jedi could be pretty cool. But then I haven't read all the EU and shit, so I have no idea.
@Stofsk: Lucas might be making excuses, or he might really be being as silly about the budgeting as he makes himself out to be- His claim is that he'd want the WHOLE TV series to have the same level of VFX as the films (no corners cut anywhere).
Really, that would be crazy expensive. The silly thing is that he could do thimgs much cheaper, you just don't throw that kind of money at a TV show.
Which would point at the possibility that he just doesn't get how TV shows are made.
As for the 'underworld' setting itself, it could go either way. If it's well-executed, it would be worth watching (but isn't just about anything?).
It doesn't have the kind of pressure on it that the prequels had (i.e. it won't be compared to the OT so much), but that doesn't mean that George can't fuck it up royally anyway.
adr rox worship him or suffer large
and so forth, etc.
also STAR TREK

Oh don't get me wrong - the story concept of setting it during the rise of the empire and having it be about smugglers and mercenaries and shit, that sounds fucking awesome
I have no faith in Lucas' ability to pull it off
For example, all the scripts are supposedly already written
that gives me a RED ALERT in my mind, and really does show he has no idea how a TV show gets made
