And you don't think there's going to be a difference in the impact to the kid between 'take away the laptop' and 'violently blast the laptop to shit'? Yes, the end result, not having a laptop is the same but it doesn't mean the impact of the kid is the same in both cases.

The impression I got from that video? They're both assholes, being over emotional and over reacting to things. The difference between them being one of them is a teenager (and really that 'i'm not your slave' shtich really is the teenage cliche) and one of them is the supposedly mature responsible adult.

Take away the laptop sure. Permantly if it is, as the video's suggested a repeated offense.
