holy fuck it's hot
40 with the humidity
for the rest of the week apparently
oh god
no wind to speak of
It's actually kinda funny to see people reacting to the weather. Mom said last night "it's going to be 39 with the windchill" and i was like "windchill???" and she realized what she said
we don't know how to deal with this
EPCOR and ENMAX had to do rolling blackouts in Edmonton and Calgary to deal with the massive demand for electricity, while offices were apparently setting the A/C to 18C or some bullshit. Seriously, it's okay if your office is 25, it's still more comfortable than outside by a over ten degrees, AND you get the bonus of not breaking the power grid!
Today has been very clear, but high risk of tornados. Tomorrow is going to be heavy on the light show, massive thunderstorms expected to break over us, with the same heat. It should be fun.
I've enjoyed it, though. At least I got lucky enough to park in shady spots at all the places I went today! Staying hydrated has been difficult though.

Ironically it's not that hot here. That's because it's been raining, but that's a good things since it'll help pull us up out of the damn drought.
Re: The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
8.5 hours getting my flight changes fixed.
Now I have to set alerts for the upgrades because the waitlists aren't working right. I don't want to spend 13 hours in the back of the bus if I can help it.
I'll call in and fix last issues later today. Why is it so hard for these people to make the computer systems talk without doing stupid things like randomly cancelling a flight in one system, but not the other every time someone touches the PNR?

Re: The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
i just ate some cottage cheese
that's delicious
though sometimes it makes my stomach feel weird for a few minutes
(not as bad as doritos though. sometimes i crave them and after i eat it, i always question why the hell i wanted it in the first place.)
