Just stop participating in mini-government and certain cliques, and you'll be happier. My own activism was just as enraging as it was rewarding. If you like the rewards enough to deal with the rage, just FIDO.

Mum was really pestering me about the elite boss Gaxkang Unbound from Dragon Age Origins, she'd been on about it for days. Now she's on about Steward Bandelor.

Fucking chemistry. I feel that I'll likely not earn an A in this course, my first B or C in two years. Goddammit.

this is a whole nother organization, chocs

they cut youth exec spots out

eliminated the $25 annual membership

leaving only the life membership, which they took from $250 to $500

i asked if they were trying to make this an elite society with a high barrier of entry

'anybody can afford $500 lol'

god damn

fortunately some good amendments were passed as well, the constitution is now in line with the societies act re: conflict of interest disclosures, the exec can't serve mroe than two terms in any position without approval from the general body (those life members paying $500 being the general body, of course...), which was pretty much the two biggest issues with the other society i mentioned (with the lawsuit)

those guys just shuffled people around playing musical chairs (and the chairs never decreased) for years, and then for 8 of the last 10 they didn't even bother doing that

And now it looks like our friend will have to stay with us for few months. What was originally framed as one month before he has to be out is now 31 Aug.

Fuck! I've essentially been feeding him for the last 5 months and unless we can find some emergency shelter, this place is gonna be crowded.

His ex isa cunt, a grade A fucking heartless bitch.

Jesus fuck.

I got myself a nice new bed since my old worn out mattress was killing me in the past couple of months.

And again... :argh:

I haven't been this mentally worn out from a week of commuting in a while. The whole week was just a fucking nightmare. *smirk*

Just a couple weeks and I can take a break.

I'm sure all those Facebook employees are thrilled about their stock options right now.

If they were stupid and didn't cash out at least half their shares at the IPO, you have a point. Startups are gambles, roll dem bones.

Every night and every day now
Though I know you've gone away
Somewhere in my heart I'm always
Dancing with you in the summer rain

Christ

I just actually listened to the lyrics of this song for the first time and I had no idea it what it was actually about

Belinda Carlisle, Summer Rain

Research tells me it was more popular in AU than the US, which explains why it was covered by a Melbourne dance-pop out a few years back

But I had no idea the song was the grieving memoir of a war widow. If we go by the release date, the narrator's significant other bought the farm in Panama. Blows my mind that I never strung the lyrics together to actually pick that all up.
